My name is Kitty Stellby and my reason for creating this course was that I couldn't find any photography courses offered at any of the numerous home school sites within their Fine Arts category.

I received my training in photography in the U.S. Navy and served for 10 years as a Navy Photographer and in Naval Photo Intelligence.  Since leaving the Navy, I have taught photography at a private school and at local Park & Recreational facilities.  I've also done some freelancing in the field of legal photography (providing photographic evidence for law firms).

I have a B.A. degree in history from San Francisco State University and was a credentialed teacher in the state of California and ACSI.  I have over six years classroom teaching experience plus instructor experience during my Navy days.

I've created this course "from scratch" based on my experience in both photography and teaching. 

I look forward to working with your child and teaching him/her the Art of photography - going beyond just "picture taking."
